ABOUT
Jackie began her real estate career in 2001. Prior to joining Compass in 2018, she was a consistent top producer with Pacific Union Realty. “My clients buy and sell residential real estate in a variety of price ranges in the cities of Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, and surrounding areas.”
As a former resident of Berkeley and current Oakland homeowner, she has in depth knowledge of the various neighborhoods. Walks in the many wonderful East Bay parks and gardening are a passion!
BACKGROUND
Jackie spent her childhood in West and East Africa and in England. As a teenager and art school dropout she emigrated to the US with a small suitcase! Supporting herself with her art, cleaning houses, sewing costumes for ACT and San Francisco Opera, she put herself through design school and eventually (to the relief of her mother!) embarked on a rewarding career in the fashion industry.
Jackie’s previous professional experiences include living in Asia as a designer for Levi’s Dockers, pioneering the use of CAD design and 20 years of international business in the fashion and interior furnishings industries.

community involvement
Jackie is a host of her brokerage annual fundraiser for Oakland school Think College Now and a primary auction sponsor for Joaquin Miller elementary which her sons attended. At the close of every escrow Jackie supports multiple local causes through the Compass Cares program and is currently donating to Home for a Home in Guatemala with the goal of funding the construction of a house every year. Her connections with the arts in the nascent epidemic of the 1980s led to manning the hotline for The San Francisco AIDS Foundation and a longtime commitment to this cause.
